Pharmacists are qualified healthcare professionals who can offer clinical advice, over the counter medicines and their use, to effectively and safely manage a range of minor health concerns. They can also help you to decide whether you'll need to see a doctor. You don't need an appointment and you won't even be asked to make a purchase. Every pharmacy also has a private consultation area for you to talk about your symptoms in private if you prefer.

Please note that all appointment requests are reviewed through a triage process. This means our clinical team will assess each request to determine the urgency and type of care needed.
This helps us ensure that patients with the most urgent needs are prioritised and that all care is delivered appropriately and efficiently.
If you wish to see a member of our nursing staff, please call the practice on 01440 841 300.
If you have a telephone consultation, the clinician will call you on the day. However, we cannot guarantee the call will match your appointment time.
If you have a video consultation, the clinician will send you a text link to join a secure consultation.
Advanced practitioners are qualified to assess patients’ physical, psychological and social needs and to diagnose and implement agreed management plans with patients, including appropriate prescribing and referrals to specialists.
We have a team of advanced practitioners who work closely with the doctors and provide appointments for patients.
Our nursing team is available by appointment for a range of your health care needs. These include asthma and diabetic checks, blood tests, removal of stitches and wound care, ECGs, NHS Health Checks, cervical screening, blood pressure checks and help to stop smoking. Please ask a member of reception for more information.
All appointments are booked in advance and while a few appointments may be available on the day this cannot be guaranteed. The Care Navigator will ask you the purpose of your appointment, as certain procedures are allocated longer appointment times.
As appointment times are linked to the procedure, these appointments have to be booked through our reception team. However, appointment times can be checked or cancelled using SystmOnline, the NHS App or our automated telephone system.
