NHS app information
Following changes made to the NHS App last year, the minimum version of mobile phone operating system required to access to NHS App has now changed. This means a small number of users will no longer have access to the NHS App via an app and will need to access their NHS App services via their NHS account using a web browser instead. You can do this via https://access.login.nhs.uk/enter-email. Videos on how to do this can be found at https://digital.nhs.uk/services/nhs-app/toolkit/libraries/nhs-account-on-the-nhs-website-walk-through-videos
This will affect people who use the following versions of iOS and Android operating systems:
iOS12 Android 6 Android 7
Users using iOS 13 and iOS14 on their phones can upgrade on their devices to the minimum supported version, iOS15.
The NHS App will now only supports Android version 8 and above on devices with a front facing camera or Apple iOS version 15 and above.
Google has a guide on how to check and update your Android version https://support.google.com/android/answer/7680439?hl=en-gb

Please be advised that Unity Healthcare will continue to provide a safe and sustainable service by continuing to request that patients contact us by eConsult in the first instance (or telephone if unable).
This way, we are able to ensure that everyone is able to get what they need, when they need it. We will continue to provide face to face appointments on the basis of need, following assessment from an expert clinician.
Being a healthcare setting, we care for a lot of patients who are vulnerable and may have no option but to attend the surgery for important monitoring. We therefore will continue the policy of mandatory wearing of face coverings in the surgery at all times. We appreciate that this may cause some frustration for some, but need to ensure that we do whatever we can to protect the most vulnerable from the ongoing threat of Coronavirus.
We thank you for your ongoing support and patience, and for supporting one another in our community.
Service Update - Dispensary Opening Hours
The Dispensary at Clements Surgery will change its opening hours. The new opening hours are as follows:
Monday to Friday 9:00 - 11:00 and 15:30 - 18:30
This will include the collection of prescriptions, telephone requests and the dispensary reception.
Repeat Prescriptions can be requested via SystmOnline or by completing a repeat prescription form at the Surgery.
Thank you for your co-operation.
Closure of Village Branch Surgery and Update on Medication Collection Service
We would like to inform our patients that our branch surgery in Kedington will be permanently closing.
This branch has only been used in recent years as a weekly medication collection point. Due to increasing financial pressures on general practice and the need to manage our resources efficiently, we have made the decision to close the building. All patients who previously used the medication collection service have already been contacted directly.
To ensure continued access to medication, we are introducing a delivery service. Alternatively, patients can collect their prescriptions from one of our other locations in Haverhill or Long Melford.
If you have any questions about this change or would like to arrange medication delivery, please contact us on 01440 841300 or speak to a member of our team.
Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support.
